Here, where it all begins
My atelier is much more than just a place of creation.
It is a cocoon where every day begins with the scent of fresh paint and light gently gliding across the canvases. Tubes of oil open to tell a new story, brushes wait patiently, and colors blend upon the palette. Every texture, every canvas, every movement already carries an intention, even before the first stroke.
I settle in, I observe, I test, I explore.
Sometimes I move forward with certainty; at other times, I doubt, I erase, I begin again. It is within this constant motion that the emotions I seek are born.
It is here, in my studio, that my artworks come to life.
Creating is my way of understanding the world.
Since the age of six, I filled pages with landscapes where the sun always shone on the left, animals built like geometric puzzles, and birds drawn as simple "V" shapes.
I didn’t know it then, but those first lines were already a way of expressing what I felt.
Over the years, I came to realize that drawing was not merely child's play.
It was my sanctuary, my language, my way of giving shape to everything that moves through me.
Even today, this instinctive energy continues to guide my painting.
On my canvases and in my sketchbook, I sign as Raphaël.
From the Atelier to your Home
Every creation I produce is designed to last.
After the final touches, I apply an anti-UV varnish that provides long-lasting protection for the colors.
Each piece is then wrapped in archival-quality glassine paper, a standard used by art conservators. Completely neutral, acid-free, anti-abrasive, and translucent, it shields the painted surface from friction, dust, and fingerprints.
This combination of protective varnish and glassine paper guarantees optimal preservation for every painting, from the easel to your home.
